House and techno producer &ME has released his fair share of standout songs.
From a viral remix of Guy Gerber’s “What To Do” to the soothing “Muyè” produced under his Berlin-based collective, Keinemusik, these often eight-minute-plus opuses are certifiable DJ weapons when it comes to hypnotizing an audience. Last year’s rework of “Drone Me Up, Flashy” by DJ Koze was named one of EDM.com‘s best songs of 2022.
&ME has now enlisted an assist from longtime friend Black Coffee, who remixed “Muyè” back in 2018, to close out a triptych of tracks known as “The Rapture.” And the resulting “The Rapture Pt. III” will leave you breathless.

Every element gets its moment to shine in this bittersweet conclusion, from silky keys and sensuous synths to the percussive beats that bring its story full circle. Don’t underestimate the minimalist approach of “The Rapture Pt. III”—with stunning textures in every bar, the track is rapturous, as well as an honest testament to &ME’s skill within his distinct point of view. And as a collaboration, it’s such a melding of talented minds that it proves true cohesion is possible.
“The emotion of this song shares the musical bond I’ve built with &ME over the years,” Black Coffee said in a statement. “I’m so happy to finally be collaborating with someone I admire deeply! Hope you enjoy the journey.”
&ME and Black Coffee are also renowned for their work together on Drake’s Honestly, Nevermind, on which the latter was credited as an executive producer. &ME, alongside fellow Keinemusik member Rampa, lent their signature sleek sound to “Falling Back” and “A Keeper.”
