Immortalizer, Toronto’s one-of-a-kind Metal and Rock pioneers aim high and hit the mark once more with this video for their latest single, “Cut Loose,” which is released and stands tall in the genre.

Dave D.R., better known by his stage name Immortalizer, is an Ontario, Canada-based multi-instrumentalist recording artist and performer. Dave launched his debut EP on CD and 7″ Vinyl in 2016 and planned to release it on social media in 2020. Dave is now working on his first full-length album, which he is writing and recording.

Heavy Metal and Rock pioneers such as Motorhead, Judas Priest, Saxon, Primal Fear, Iron Maiden, Michael Schenker, Dio, Black Sabbath, Ozzy, Helloween, Gamma Ray, Van Halen, Thin Lizzy, Megadeth, Metallica, Whitesnake, Deep Purple, and KISS have influenced Dave.

The music presents a captivating narrative that inspires contemplation while simultaneously furthering the spooky, frightening air of the environment, stylishly merging robust soundscape design with equal parts melody and screaming.

For the duration of its roughly six-minute life-span, the song delivers several layers and moments, proving epic in character but also comprising numerous recognized strands that help make the whole thing highly memorable.

Not only is the music fantastic, as are the performers and production, but the storyline engages and compels due to its uniqueness. And these characteristics are evident throughout “Cut Loose.”

This is still evolving, with the intensity and energy increasing throughout and the drums slamming all around. Meanwhile, the vocals provide a surprisingly subtle touch of delicacy compared to the increasing weight and power.

Immortalizer soon establishes itself as one of the new rock scene’s most appealing, fascinating, and deserving performers, thanks to the fantastic guitar solos and a genuine full-band roar of intensity and unity.
